Help your DuPage neighbors stay safe with Community Face Mask Project!
Submitted by DuPage Health Coalition
The DuPage Health Coalition recently asked their patients if they needed face masks and in just 24 hours more than 2,500 masks were requested. There were requests for both adults and children. The DuPage Health Coalition knew that there were lots of people who would want to help ensure that everyone has personal protective equipment to keep their families safe. The Community Face Mask Project has been organized to collect cloth masks to be given to local families and nonprofit organizations.
If you want to help, visit accessdupage.org to learn how to make or purchase masks and/or provide financial support. You can do a contact-free drop off of cloth mask donations or mail it to DuPage Health Coalition, c/o Community Face Mask Project, 511 Thornhill Drive, Suite C, Carol Stream, IL 60188. You can also purchase a mask through the DuPage Health Coalition’s Amazon or Target wish list. Your purchase will be delivered to the Carol Stream office. Are you interested in having your agency act as a drop-off site? Contact Kara Murphy, DuPage Health Coalition president, via the website or call the office at (630) 510-8720.
