This policy describes the basis on which any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us and how we use it. By visiting www.accessdupage.org and its subsites, if any, you are accepting and consenting t the practices described in this policy and our accompanying Terms of Use. This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for accessdupage.org (the “Website”). This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by the Website, except where stated otherwise.
DuPage Health Coalition collects information when you visit the Website, create an account for program enrollment, edit your account information, or make a donation. You authorize us to use, store and otherwise process any personal information which relates to and identifies you, including but not limited to, your name and address, to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the services which are available through the Website, as well as use by others, as described below.

Information you give to us. This is information about you that you give to us by filling out forms on the Website or by corresponding with us through e-mail, by electronic message or otherwise. It includes, but is not limited to, information you provide when you make a donation, when you register for use of, or participation in, events through our site, subscribe to our newsletter, or communicate with our team members via the Website. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, credit card information, personal description, donation amount, and any other information provided.
We use third party vendors for online donations, and the Website may contain links to and from websites of our partner networks, advertisers, and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites. For donations made to DuPage Health Coalition through the Website, we use GiveLively.org and Stripe.com

    We will also disclose your personal information to third parties if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the DuPage Health Coalition, our supporters, or others.
    Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to share program information or changes to this privacy policy.
    Security
    We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
    Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

Our website uses a Transport Layer Security, the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private. All online donation transactions are handled by Payment Card Industry (PCI)-compliant vendors. PCI refers to the technical and operational standards that businesses must follow to ensure that credit card data provided by cardholders is protected.

    Partners include, but are not limited to: 
    Google Analytics. DuPage Health Coalition uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The Other Information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. DuPage Health Coalition encourages its visitors and users to be aware of such search engines and other sites when they leave the Website and to read the privacy statement of each website they visit.
