Using our free pharmacy program is easy for Access DuPage members; you automatically qualify! You just need to bring your Access DuPage card with you to the pharmacy to prove you are eligible. You can get up to 90 days of free medication if it is a DDOH medicine. Other Access DuPage medications are only available at the standard 30-day prescription.
The DuPage Dispensary of Hope can provide up to 90 days of medication per visit, with a valid prescription.
There are several ways to get your prescriptions to the new free pharmacy:
- Ask your doctor’s office for a new paper prescription and bring it to the DuPage Dispensary of Hope (located within the DuPage Care Center Outpatient Pharmacy).
- Ask your doctor’s office to transmit your prescription electronically to the DuPage Care Center Outpatient Pharmacy through Surescripts or by faxing the request to 630.784.4284. The pharmacy phone number is 630.784.4288.
- Transfer your current prescription by contacting your current pharmacy and telling them to transfer your prescription to DuPage Care Center Outpatient Pharmacy; fax number 630.784.4284, phone number 630.784.4288.
- Contact the DuPage Dispensary of Hope/ DuPage Care Center Outpatient Pharmacy at 630.784.4288 and tell them the name and phone number of the pharmacy where you have a prescription on file; they can call the pharmacy to have the medication transferred.

DuPage Care Center Outpatient Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy. This means that in addition to the free medications available through DuPage Dispensary of Hope, other medicine is also available for retail purchase. The pharmacist can tell you if any of your other medications are available for free for pickup or order.
Access DuPage members can receive all of their medications at the DuPage Care Center Outpatient Pharmacy. Please bring a complete list of your medications when you come to the pharmacy. Listed DuPage Dispensary of Hope Medications will be provided for free; other medications can be provided with your standard copayment.
