Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Assists low-income households by offsetting the rising cost of home energy through direct financial assistance, energy counseling, outreach and education. An overdue bill or disconnect notice is not required to receive LIHEAP assistance. Emergency assistance is available to eligible households whose utility service is in danger of disconnection or has been disconnected and for homeowners whose furnace is non-operational or determined unsafe to operate. Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.
The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.PRC Refurbished Computers and Training
People’s Resource Center’s Computer Access and Training program helps clients understand personal computer basics and teaches commonly used software programs, including Intro to Computers, Windows Fundamentals, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. As a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, PRC takes donated computers and refurbishes them for distribution to those who need a home computer. The Fix-It program provides free repairs on home computers for PRC clients.

Project 10Million
T-Mobile is offering free hotspots and internet to 10 million eligible households. Your child can qualify for Project 10Million through eligibility for the National School Lunch Program, which also can be verified through participation in many government programs.
Bridging the Gap
DHC is proud to partner with Bridging the Gap to provide quality, affordable computers (laptops and desktops) and internet service to those with an income under 200% of FPL. The program also includes repairs. Click to learn more in English and Spanish.
