Why is DHC joining with our partners to create the Community Face Mask Project? We recently asked our DuPage Health Coalition patients if they needed face masks and in just 24 hours more than 2,500 masks were requested! We learned that both adults and children needed masks. In a community as caring as ours, we just knew that there were lots of people who would want to help us ensure that everyone has personal protective equipment to keep their families safe. The Community Face Mask Project will help us to gather cloth masks that we can offer to local families and local nonprofit organizations like ours. Request a mask for free below!

How to Wear a Fabric Mask
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in general, the closer and longer you interact with others, the greater the risk of spreading COVID-19. If you decide to participate in public activities, continue to protect yourself by practicing everyday preventive actions. Whenever possible, keep a cloth face covering, tissues, and a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol on hand.
