Access primary care services
To be eligible for Access DuPage, you must:
- Be a permanent DuPage County resident for at least 60 days (this means that you live or intend to live in DuPage County year-round)
- Be over the age of 19
- Have a household income at or below 200% of the current federal poverty guidelines – FPL Chart
- Not be eligible for health care programs such as (Medicaid, Medicare, employer-sponsored insurance, student health services, COBRA, SSI, Family Care, Veterans Benefits, etc.)
Most persons in Access DuPage are enrolled for a one-year period. At the end of each period of eligibility, persons may re-enroll if they still meet the eligibility requirements.
All persons enrolled in Access DuPage receive an ID card. This card must be presented at all times by the enrollee to receive any medical services. It’s very important to understand that Access DuPage enrollment does not guarantee that all medical costs will be covered. Any services provided to patients but not written off or donated by participating providers are the responsibility of the patient.
